Colt 5.5″ Artillery Model Holster

Standard US Army holster for the Colt SAA Artillery 5.5" revolver.

Rare collector's item in good overall condition with issue markings on the flap: 'C76/123'

A very nice US marking on the front, slightly bulging from carrying the weapon.

The manufacturer's mark, G & K, is still visible on the back, although slightly faded.

The leather remains supple, demonstrating the quality of craftsmanship of the era.

The stitching on the right side is slightly unstitched, and there is a small tear on the lower left.

As is often the case, the leather piece closing the bottom of the holster is worn, as is common with holsters that have seen combat.

A rare military holster with a history and undeniable authenticity.
