The Colt Single Action Army revolver, SAA or Colt Peacemaker, is the most iconic revolver in the history of the American West, one of the weapons that conquered the West. Manufactured from 1873 onwards, it benefited from military contracts that established its reputation. Quickly popular in civilian versions, the Colt Single Action Army, Model P, also known as the Peacemaker, was produced over the years in numerous caliber and barrel length variations. The shorter versions were favored in gunfights. This model is a Western collectible firearm for sale, a symbol of the conquest of the West.

This collectible Colt Peacemaker handgun has been beautifully re-nickeled. The metal parts are in very good condition, and the nickel finish shows signs of age while maintaining a very attractive appearance. The markings are present, though slightly worn. The serial numbers are identical on the different parts of the body, matching, and indicate a manufacture date of 1883, during the height of the Wild West era. The revolver functions in good condition, including the firing pin, indexing mechanism, and the four Colt clicks, with only slight play from use. The barrel remains clear with good rifling. It should be noted that the sights and barrel length have been modified according to the previous owner's preference. The grips are replacements and in excellent condition. This Colt revolver, in this beautifully restored version, embodies the legend of the West.
The firearm is supplied with its St-Etienne certificate classifying it as Category D.
