This rare set, typical of American cavalry equipment from the Indian Wars, consists of a belt, a holster for a Colt or Smith & Wesson revolver, and rare sword straps.

These pieces bear the various marks of military inspectors.

The enlisted-type belt features a handsome buckle and a supple leather belt.

The holster was originally designed for the Colt Single Action Army revolver with a 7.5" barrel, known as the "Cavalry" model, and includes a regulation adapter for the Smith & Wesson "Schofield" revolver. This holster is in good condition, particularly the stitching.

This set is completed by two rare sword straps.
